This Privacy Policy explains how DropTexts ("DropTexts," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by OV, LLC, a Missouri limited liability company, collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and SMS notification tools (the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

1.1 Information You Provide

We collect information you voluntarily provide, including:

• Your phone number
• Your opt-in consent to receive SMS notifications
• For Creators: account setup information such as name, email, and brand name

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to:

• Send SMS notifications on behalf of Creators
• Manage opt-ins and opt-outs
• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Prevent abuse and ensure compliance with messaging regulations
• Communicate with Creators about their accounts, updates, and support requests

We do not use Subscriber phone numbers for marketing unrelated to the Creator they subscribed to.

3. HOW CREATORS USE INFORMATION

Creators using DropTexts may access the phone numbers of their Subscribers for the sole purpose of sending product drop notifications.

Creators are independently responsible for:

• Complying with SMS and privacy laws
• Sending messages only to Subscribers who have opted in
• Handling personal data according to applicable rules

DropTexts is not responsible for how Creators choose to use Subscriber information outside the Service.

4. SHARING OF INFORMATION

We do not sell personal data.

We may share information:

• With SMS carriers or messaging partners to deliver messages
• With service providers that support our infrastructure (e.g., hosting, security)
• When required by law, such as in response to a subpoena or court order
• To protect our rights, enforce our Terms, or prevent fraud or abuse
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

5. DATA STORAGE & SECURITY

We use industry-standard practices to secure the data we store, including encryption, access controls, and audit logging.

However, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

6. RETENTION

7. SMS OPT-OUT

Subscribers can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Opting out stops all future notifications from that Creator.

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.

9. THIRD-PARTY LINKS

DropTexts may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites.

10. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights such as:

• Accessing the data we hold about you
• Requesting deletion of your data
• Correcting inaccurate information
